Yes, Wonder Years offers telehealth for patients across New York State and New Jersey.

Telehealth has been shown to work well for patients of all ages, from children to older adults. Virtual appointments are billed the same as in-person visits.

We kindly request that you let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you can’t make it to your appointment.

No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will be billed at the full rate.

If you arrive at your appointment late, it’ll remain up to the discretion of the doctor to meet with you based on availability.

Out of respect for our other patients, we cannot promise extra time outside the designated appointment slot.

In order for us to provide high-quality services at accessible rates, Wonder Years requires all patients to keep a credit card on file. This helps us streamline our operations.

The credit card on file can be used to pay for visits to the clinic if you wish. It will also be charged in case an appointment is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time as well as for missed appointments & no-shows.

Wonder Years offers a flexible, hybrid approach to payment. Some of our providers are in-network with certain insurance plans, while others operate out-of-network.

We’re happy to provide detailed receipts and documentation to help you seek reimbursement if needed. Because coverage can vary, we recommend reaching out to both our office and your insurance provider in advance to understand your specific benefits.

At your first appointment, we’ll conduct a thorough evaluation to better understand your mental health needs. For children and adolescents, we ask that parents or caregivers attend this initial visit to help provide a full picture of the challenges the patient is facing.

If you have any previous records—such as past psychiatric evaluations, medication lists, or testing reports—please bring them along. After the evaluation, we’ll discuss treatment options together and create a personalized care plan that works for you.

Wonder Years offers comprehensive evaluations, second opinions, and ongoing care for a wide range of mental health conditions. We work closely with you to ensure an accurate diagnosis and thoughtful treatment plan, with regular check-ins about your progress, medications, and any side effects. Our goal is to help you feel supported and informed every step of the way.

Yes, we offer both therapy and medication management for those with ASD who are struggling with anxiety disorders and/or ADHD.
